For the past 4 or 5 years Micki and I have organized/ hosted a New Year’s Eve party at our church. Great times! But this year we decided to pass on that and made no plans. Over the weekend we were invited to some friends’ home. It made for a very enjoyable evening. The kids all hung out well together, played video games, and culminated at midnight by shooting party poppers and noise makers.
Not playing host made for a quiet and enjoyable evening. We enjoyed great conversation, great food (meatballs, nachos, veggies, cookies, etc, etc), and played euchre for several hours. Very good stuff. I hope everyone had as enjoyable a New Years Eve as we did and blessings to all in the upcoming year.
