The Anatomy of Sin

I've been churning up what will become a sermon, devotional, SS lesson, or blog series of some sort. Based in the Scripture accounts in the earliest chapters of Genesis leading to our own current lives. It revolves around the 3 basic premises of any sin:

1. SELFISHNESS - it always begins with the choice to honor ourselves


2. BLAME - we always do what we do because of someone else


3. DECEIT - when all else fails, we will lie about it

Not sure exactly where this is leading but it's clear there is truth to be explored.
